This really is a wonderful apartment and particularly because of its prime location in São Martinho do Porto. Situated just 65 metres away from the beach and benefiting from fantastic sea views and a communal swimming pool there is no doubt that this is one of the most desirable apartments in this picturesque town.

The apartment has been thoughtfully furnished to a high standard. Facilities include 2 king-size beds and twin beds in the third bedroom. There is also a sofa bed in the third bedroom to allow for a further two guests. The lounge is equipped with free Wi-Fi, an LCD TV, DVD, satellite TV and a docking station for an MP3 player.

The apartment has 2 bathrooms, one full bathroom and the other has a toilet, bidet and shower enclosure.

If you have a baby, a highchair and a travel cot can be provided (you must bring your own bed linen for the cot). Please request this when booking.

Bracelets will be given to you, by the property managers, for access to the pool. Please be aware that only 6 pool bracelets will be given, if there are more than 6 members in your group, you will have to share the bracelets between yourselves.

The property benefits of a garage with a private space for your car. Please note that the space is tight and larger cars may be hard to fit in. There is free parking space outside the complex as an alternative.

Please be aware that there are some steps around the complex and obviously inside the apartment as it is a duplex, so the apartment would not be ideal for people with reasonably severe mobility problems.

São Martinho is a beautiful small village, with a shell shaped bay. Due to its particular shape, the bay is the ideal beach for families with small children, as the strong sea current characteristic of the Atlantic ocean is not present here.

Throughout the sea front there are lovely restaurants, where you can delight yourself with delicious Portuguese food, nice cafés and bars.
Just a stroll away along the coast line and you'll find Salir do Porto River beach, which has the river streaming to the ocean and is also perfect for families due to its calm waters.

From time to time there are festivals in São Martinho and given the central location of this apartment, the noise can be disturbing for guests that are looking for a quiet stay. The key events that guests might find disturbing are the New Year celebrations and the Festas de Santo António (the dates vary but normally 10 days in early to mid June). If you would be likely to be disturbed by having music playing late into the night, please verify the dates of the festival before making a reservation.

Check-ins are from 2PM to 7PM. If you think you will arrive later than 7PM, please contact us before booking to confirm if a late arrival will be possible. If a late arrival is agreed, please know that there is a charge of € 25 to be paid locally.

This property is unavailable for arrivals on the 24th, 25th, 26th of December and also on January 1st. On New Year's Eve, arrivals are possible only until 3pm.
