To Drink in Batalha

There are a few places to have a drink in the small village of Batalha. There is a lovely, hipster wine bar called Maria Petinga that seems to draw people in any time of year. The owner is knowledgable about wine and cheese parings and eager to please. It is a great place to sit and celebrate after seeing every nook and cranny of the monastery. The Vintage Restaurant is another option for a night cap and particularly well known for its views of the church after dark.
