Apartamento muito Limpo ,com tudo o que precisa perto da praia sou a Internet muito fraca,Restaurantes poucos e a comida nao e muito boa.

No geral foi bastante agradável.

Adorei esta tudo limpo e arejado. Foram umas exelentes férias.����

 

Excelente espaço, muito bem localizado, com vistas para o mar e para a piscina! Só critico o facto da saída ser as 11h00 da manhã e a equipa de limpeza ter entrado no apartamento as 10h30 da manhã ainda com as nossas coisas lá, sem sequer nos deixarem sair antes... De resto o espaço é excelente! Recomendo verdadeiramente!

 

L'appartement est très bien avec vue sur la mer. Entre l'appartement et la mer il y a une voie ferré mais les trains ne circulent pas la nuit et il y a 2 à 4 trains par jour qu'on n'attend pratiquement pas. L'accès à la mer à rapide env. 5min On est près de tout les commerces. Petit bémol coupure d'eau dans l'appartement pendant 2 h au petit matin et coupure d'électricité dans le garage. Attention les places de garages sont attribuées... il ne faut pas se garer n'importe où... J'y retournais c'est sûr...

We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad in dit ruime appartement. Dichtbij op loopafstand van het strand en het centrum van Sao Martinho. Het zwembad was groot genoeg, al was het tijdens bewolkte dagen wel koud om te zwemmen. Het is fijn om een eigen garage te hebben, omdat parkeren in deze buurt erg moeilijk was, vanwege de strandbezoekers. In het appartement is alles aanwezig, alleen misten we de standstoeltjes. Die hebben we aangeschaft en voor de toekomstige bewoners achtergelaten. Er waren zelfs spellen, maar die hebben wij niet gebruikt. Erg veel Engelstalige boeken, daarom hebben ook maar een aantal Nederlandse boeken achtergelaten. De bedden waren goed! De beschrijving klopte met de inventaris(foto’s); het zou handig zijn om te melden dat er een vaatwasser aanwezig is en een lift. Er was een map met allerlei informatie over de omgeving. Helaas was de wifi niet geweldig. Meestal was er overdag geen of hele langzame verbinding. Heel vervelend als je toch nog wat data wilt binnenhalen of informatie wilt zoeken. Simone en Laura waren erg behulpzaam. We kregen een extra sleutel voor het zwembad en de verstoppingen in de afvoer werden keurig opgelost. Vanaf een uur of 1 kregen voor de rest van de dag de zon op ons balkon.

O estado do apartamento correspondia a descrição dada no anúncio. O espaço estava limpo, arejado e dotado de todos os utensílios necessários a uma estadia agradável. O proprietário foi atencioso. Os cafés e restaurantes em São Martinho praticam preços agradavelmente moderados. A praia e o mar são convidativos.

We really enjoyed our stay in Silver Sands, the apartment had everything you could possibly need along with beach umbrella, windbreak, body boards and beach toys etc. It was definitely a home from home apartment, nicely decorated and well equipped, nice and clean, though the Wifi was very very slow at times. Not sure about the 140 channels as stated, we could only find about a dozen, but didn't use the tv much at all. Got to agree with one of the earlier reviews about the bed in the main bedroom, very springy, creaky, noisy and not very comfortable. Had a few issues with the water pressure on some days around 7-8pm, unable to take a shower until later on! The views from the balconies are really nice, once you got used to the railway line and grafitti on the walls at the side of the track, the pictures don't show you that. The trains are really not noticeable. There are plenty of chairs and sun loungers to use. The pool is good but is did get really busy at times, again the 1 key given to us is any issue when you have got 3 teenagers. The apartment is literally a 2 minute walk down the the station, over the track and you are on the beach. Plenty of nice restaurants close by, along with small grocery shops selling fantastic fresh bread etc. Large Supermarket about 15 mins walk away. The train and the bus stop are very close and easy to use, plenty of places to visit if you have not got a hire car. It was a pleasure to deal with Anthony and Jenny from RR, and the staff at Smart Homes in Sao Martinho were great. Would we stay there again, most definitely.

Kitchen well equipped. Short walk to beach via train station. Good size rooms. Photos in this advert do not have the correct views. Trains come in daily, not too noisy, but noticeable. View from balconies includes the train tracks. Bathrooms are very small, picture here is out of proportion. Jacuzzi not working. Key needed to enter and exit swimming pool area. Not convenient. I would not suggest up to 8 sleep, would be crowded. Bay nice for small children, some good, inexpensive food.

The apartment : Very thoughtful and truly home from home. You can find anything from pen to toothpick. Tastefully decorated :-). Good Wifi, thank you! Jacuzzi bath is NOT working. Main bedroom bathroom is very small and the bed is 'springy' thus lots of noise if partner get up during the night. Other bathroom is not big, yet a bidet loo is also pushed in behind the door. Lift didn't work on day 1 we had to carry all our luggage up the stairs. One key to swimming pool, which you need for in and out the area - this was difficult for the 3 of us Cleaning was disappointing. I addressed it and they've sent someone the same day, but ideally I don't really want cleaners whilst Im on holiday The bay: Ideal for family with small children, short walk from apartment to beach area across the train tracks of Sao Martinho station Misty mornings meant beach time was maybe in the afternoon. Good beach acticities available. Good for walking Restaurants nice - and not very expensive - good dinner for 8.50 excl drinks is possible. Not much otherwise around unless you get in car and drive - Nazare was great, also Obidos. Great support from rental retreats and the ladies where we picked up the keys. Actioned immediately on topics addressed, which was really great

The accommmodation was excellent, very well equipped & robust enough for young children. As it as a last-minute arrangement we never saw the listing description. The location was very good, esp. as two of us travelled there by train. A good view, provided they don't build on the vacant plot opposite. It was prepared to a high standard and our stay was very enjoyable. Our only reservation was that the bathroom was small, & given that the other bathroom was ensuite in the room a toddler had to sleep in, not quite sufficient for the number of guests ( 4 adults, 2 small children). e were very pleased with the service from Anthony Masters & would certainly recommend this property to others. Sao Martinho itself is a very good size of resort for families with young children, plenty to do & very safe.

Everything about this place is perfect. The apartment is like a home from home, very well equipped with gorgeous views. Plenty to do for all ages. The owners have thought of everything. The pool is ideal for relaxing on a warm day. Could I also add the at Antony and all the staff could not do enough to help us. Mr Masters answered all my questions ( and there was a lot) before during and after booking, nothing was to much trouble for him. The staff at the smart homes office were also very helpful. Antony also provided me with a number for a local taxi firm, Anna, Theresa and one of their drivers Mr Luis went out of their way to help us. Your cannot fault the people of Portugal. They are all so very helpful. A credit to their country. A big than you from the Brierley family.xx

Silversands is a delight, certainly the best overseas apartment that I have stayed in. It is spacious, clean and bright with a view over the bay from one of the two balconies. It is very comfortably furnished with a kitchen which is better equipped than my own, and everything worked! The swimming pool is huge, again very clean, well maintained and secure. It is in a very quiet neighbourhood, but the beach, shops, restaurants and bars are all easily accessed by a short level walk. Sao Martinho do Porto itself is a quiet friendly town with interesting nooks and crannies. The tourist information centre were very helpful, the Old Market a must for colour and produce, and all within walking distance. I have no hesitation in recommending Silversands and Sao Martinho for a holiday and I hope to return one day.

We were thrilled with the size of apartment.Ideal for a family of 5.The kitchen was extremely well kitted out and every room was spotless.Location could not have been better.Short walk to beach ,restaurants and shops.The booking was very straightforward and Ralph met us at the bus stop when we arrived to show us where the apartment is located.Sao Martinho do Porto is a great holiday destination.

My daughter and her friend loved having the fantastic swimming pool .We had a very enjoyable stay in Sao Martinho do Porto. It is a great place for a holiday with young children. The local seafood was first class. The beach two minutes walk from the apartment was completely safe with gentle waves and clean silver sands, that my children loved. The apartment was fantastic. Modern, spotless and well laid out. It was furnished beautifully. The views from the balconies were superb and sunsets absolutely gorgeous. The kitchen was well appointed with all the required appliances including dishwasher and washing machine. Very organized with documentation for every situation (eg, doctor, hospital etc). We are defintely coming back, we had one of our best ever holidays. Ease of booking

A beautiful, extremely well equipped apartment. Immaculate and spotless. Great town, plenty to do. Can't recommend this place enough.

We had a wonderful stay in san Martino. It is a great place to vacation with young children. The seafood was delicious and quite varied. The bay has gentle waves that kids love. The apt was wonderful. Modern, exceptionally clean and well laid out. It was furnished beautifully, and the service from the realty rep was impecable. The fotos in the ad are quite nice but don't really show how large and beautiful the apt is. The views fro mthe terraces are quite nice and sunsets are absolutely gorgeous. The kitchen was well appointed with full appliances, (we used the clothes washer alot). Very organized with documentation for every concievable situation (eg, doctor, vet, hospital numbers and locations), tourist attractions, contacts, etc. On a rainy day we loved playing with the various board games stored under the TV. My son loved having the huge swimming pool in the back. We were pleasantly surprised that there was a lifeguard on duty from 8 am to 7pm everyday. Our routine became beach in themorning, lunch, nap, then swimming in the pool, then dinner. We are defintely coming back, we had one of the best vacations ever. Thank you so much Silver Sands

Good all round appartment, pool and location (near beach). Nice resort. Not touristy.

New apartment with spacious rooms, two balconies and very well equipped. Only bathrooms could be a little bigger. Beautiful beach is within a short walk distance. Very good and quick contact with the owner. A small hint: watch out when entering and leaving the garage for the first time. The gate is quite narrow but you'll get used to it.

Spent a lovely week in this apartment with my partner and 3 children. Very well specified apartment, bedrooms very comfortable - and the kitchen is well fitted out. Very nice swimming pool on the complex. A short walk over the railway (through the station - no safety concerns) and you are by the beautiful beach, Lots of good places to eat within walking distance. I think we will return!

This was our first time on the Atlantic coast of Portugal. What an absolutely lovely town Sao Martinho do Porto the shell shaped bay and beach are great But the reason "I put pen to paper" is this apartment, spotless, extremely comfortable , someones home rather than a rental apartment, air conditioned and heated ( we tried both). Antony the owner was very accurate with his description and just as importantly the service provided by Simone when we first arrived was first class. The restaurant O'Farrel was good but not cheap. I would recommend the take-away next to the station quite good enough for my family. We will be booking again. John accompanied by Tom, Joshua and Sarah.
