West Coast - Luxurious three bedroom apartment in excellent location with heated swimming pool

Très bel appartement .3 chambres, 3 salles de bain idéal pour 6 personnes. Il faudrait juste du wifi et une essoreuse à salade .

Appartement spacieux et bien équipé à 800m de la plage. Seul bémol, le lit double n'est pas un 200x200, comme noté dans l'annonce, mais un 160x200. La literie est toutefois de bonne qualité.

Situation géographique idéale, plage à proximité ainsi que tous les commences. Je vous conseille cet appartement.

The apartment was wonderful, perfect for the five of us that went. This apartment would be ideal for up to 6 people. 3 couples would be best but two of the rooms have twin beds that can either be pushed together or left apart so one couple and four others or any combination would work well also. By coincidence, not many other apartments seemed to be in use, and those that were apparently didn't have any interest in the pool, so we effectively had our own private pool, which was wonderful. The pool is heated but it's really only enough to take the edge off first thing in the morning. It does however get a fair amount of sun in the afternoon. Either way, the water is lovely once you are in. One small issue in the main communal bathroom was that the shower cubicle does not properly hold the water in so you always end up with a wet floor. We had to use a towel each time to stop it flooding out. I suspect this would be easily fixed and didn't really cause us any trouble. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you might need during your stay including washing machine and dishwasher if needed. We made fair use of it during our stay but also ventured out to try some local places. We highly recommend The Granada down on the beachfront. The staff are very welcoming (they even helped us with our Portuguese), and the food is wonderful (we went back several times). There is also a Pastelaria (Pastry shop) over by the church with excellent cakes and pastries. According to some locals, they have the best Pastel De Nata (Kind of like a custard tart. Something of a Portuguese specialty) in the country, and we heartily agreed. One thing to watch out for is the fire station alarm. They ring it every day around midday to mark the hour and it is right behind the apartment block so rather loud if you happen to be in or near the apartment at that time. There are plenty of places to go for a wander nearby and even more if you have a car and don't mind driving a little way. Obidos, just up the road, has some excellent sights to see, and even has an 'Escape Room' experience that is very fun indeed and takes place in one of the castle towers. Overall, we had an excellent time and would highly recommend this apartment to anyone.

This is our second visit to celebrate the new year at this property. Great location next to the fire station approx 5 min walk to the centre accessed by the lift from the old town to the front or a gentle stroll down the hill. Apartment is in fantastic condition exactly as the pictures show, we were a party of 3 adult couples and we had plenty of space. 2 of the bedrooms are en suite with the 3rd bathroom just opposite the other bedroom. The only 1 very minor criticism would be that the bedroom without the en suite doesn't have a mirror for hair drying/makeup, we just went and bought a portable one from the shop on the front for our stay, highly recommended we will be back.

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It has everything you would need for a very comfortable stay. Kitchen well equipped and the beds and bed linens were super comfortable. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property. The only negative I have, a slight niggle, is that a few extra towels would have been good, I didn't ask so not a big complaint.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans cet appartement luxueux, bien aménagé, meublé et décoré avec goût.. En revanche, le système de chauffage ne fonctionnait pas dans le séjour et une des chambres et nous avons eu froid. La société gestionnaire nous dépanné dès le lendemain avec un petit chauffage d'appoint qui nous a été très utile pendant notre séjour. Nous avons été déçus par le manque d'entretien général : les parois de douche ne sont pas nettoyées et sont envahies de calcaire. Les joints des cabines sont noirs et laissent passer l'eau. Le ménage n'est pas fait correctement. Nous avons dû nettoyer la plaque de cuisson sur laquelle subsitait une épaisse couche de gras laissée par les locataires précédents. Nous espérons que le nécessaire sera fait pour remédier à ces problèmes. Malgré ces inconvénients, nous pouvons recommander cette location.

Lovely clean, modern apartment, our party was 6 adults and we had plenty of room, even a bathroom per couple! Only downside was no wifi, although you can access plenty for free in the bay so not a major issue. Location is by the fire station, approx 5 to 10 min walk to beach and the same to the supermarket. Plenty of balcony space and private underground parking accessed via the lift in the building. Pool area looked nice although we didn't use it. Looking to book again for next year already. Well worth a visit.

Third time in Sao Martinho, albeit the first time in an apartment as our party was smaller. The villa is part of a larger complex but reasonably quiet with secure parking. It is well appointed with plenty of space on the two balconies. A heated pool as well which is useful with a small child. I would certainly recommend this to anyone. While not a negative, as we were aware at the time of booking, both satellite tv and internet would be a very welcome addition

The Apartment was just as described, very spacious with everything you could want. The pool was slighly smaller than we thought it would be but it wasn't a problem. The area we were in was very clean not far to walk to the large Supermarket, outdoor market & Miss Daisy's for fresh croissants in the mornings and easy walking distance to the beach & fine restuarants. We must mention the gentleman that worked in the tourist information office, nothing was to much trouble and he organised some great tours for us to go on. The children aged 9 & 11 loved the area it was so pretty and we are definately planning another visit next year and hope that we can get to grips with paddle boarding. I must also say how helpful Anthony Masters was and the information pack that was left in the apartment was excellent.

Thoroughly recommend this apartment and company West Coast. The apartment was modern well equipped and maintained. West Coast were excellent to deal with and went out of their way to make sure we were well looked after. It was also possible to hire a private people carrier and driver for day tours and airport transfers if need be, all at very good prices. The whole experience was just brilliant.
