Cascais, Portugal Guide
Cascais is a statuesque waterfront town with boutique-lined streets, vibrant art vendors, and vintage carousels tucked away in gravel-paved parks. It is a Riviera town in every sense of the word. It is just over an hour from São Martinho do Porto and Nazaré and shares a long maritime history. Because Cascais is less than 30 Kilometers from Lisbon it has evolved in a very different direction from the villages along the Silver Coast. For that reason, it is a great day trip because it offers an urban beach perspective to round out your Portuguese holiday.
