The complex is very popular owing to its facilities yet proximity to the Sao Martinho bay which is a 10 minute walk along the coast (a very beautiful walk along the edge of the Atlantic).
The property itself is superby located on the complex and has spectacular sea views, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (sleeps 8). The lounge and dining area can accommodate 8 people and there is dining furniture for outside too. You'll also find communal sunloungers for use by guests at all 3 swimming pools.
In the lounge there is also a fireplace that guests can enjoy. The master bedroom has a King sized bed. The other two bedrooms have double beds and there is a sofa-bed in the lounge that can be used to accommodate 2 other guests.
There is also a cot for a baby but please mention on booking so bedding can be prepared.
The main bathroom has a bath with shower over and a separate shower cubical, basin and toilet and there is an additional small WC room.
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to make dining in as easy!
The owner has kindly provided a free Wi-Fi connection for those that wish to stay connected.
From your private ground floor terrace and 1st floor balcony you can enjoy the views across the Atlantic and enjoy the outside as much as you like.
When it's time to spend time inside you have TV, DVD and CD player for your use. There are also books, DVDs, toys and board games for all ages.
There is free parking on the road running alongside the complex and always plenty of parking spaces as the complex is set back from Sao Martinho itself.
To the restaurants and bars it's a 10-15 min walk into town where you will arrive in the up-market part of São Martinho do Porto .
Attention: Whilst COVID-19 is still prevalent, a number of measures are being taken to reduce the risk of contamination in the Gilmafacho complex. During this time:
- · Loungers will not be available around the pools.
- · The indoor communal areas will remain closed. This means that it won't be possible to use the pool table or squash court.
- · In order to use the tennis court and mini-golf, guests are required to provide their own golf clubs and racquets.
In light of recent events involving COVID-19 and in recognition of the unpredictable nature of measures that may be imposed by the government or by the managers of a complex to control the risk of the contamination, it is possible that the use of certain facilities in any complex may be restricted. Any such measures are outside of the control of the owners, property managers and advertisers and as such no compensation can be awarded for any limitations to use. We will however do our best to inform guests with as much notice as possible should we become aware of any restrictions to the communal spaces.

Rental & Booking Information
- There's a mandatory final cleaning charge of € 110.
- Please note that arrivals after 22:00 will be charged at € 25 to be paid on arrival.
- From 15 Sept to 15 June, gas consumption is charged at a rate of € 4.27 per KW hour.
Refundable Security Deposit: € 150
- The refundable security deposit is returned to you 2 weeks after your stay.
Christmas/New Year Season:
- Christmas/New Year bookings of less than 1 week, over this period, will be charged for 1 week and the security deposit increases to € 300.
- Cancellation fee of 20% of the booking up to 5 weeks before the holiday, and 100% when the holiday is less than 5 weeks away.

Nous avons passé 2 très bonnes semaines en famille dans l'appartement Dolfin! Il est très bien agencé, propre, spacieux. Les enfants ont adoré la console de jeux et les équipements sportifs laissé sur place pour profiter des installations de la résidence.
