This is a fantastic 3 bedroom property in a very popular resort called Gilma Facho overlooking the Atlantic in São Martinho do Porto with its own private terrace and balcony. Benefiting from an array of free activities on-site such as 3 pools, 2 child pools, tennis court, mini-golf, squash court and games room.

The complex is very popular owing to its facilities yet proximity to the Sao Martinho bay which is a 10 minute walk along the coast (a very beautiful walk along the edge of the Atlantic). 

The property itself is superby located on the complex and has spectacular sea views, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (sleeps 6). The lounge and dining area can accommodate 8 people and there is dining furniture for outside too. You'll also find communal sunloungers for use by guests at all 3 swimming pools.

In the lounge there is also a fireplace that guests can enjoy. The master bedroom has a King sized bed. The other two bedrooms have double beds.

There is also a cot for a baby but please mention on booking so bedding can be prepared. 

The main bathroom has a bath with shower over and a separate shower cubical, basin and toilet and there is an additional small WC room.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to make dining in as easy!

The owner has kindly provided a free Wi-Fi connection for those that wish to stay connected.

From your private ground floor terrace and 1st floor balcony you can enjoy the views across the Atlantic and enjoy the outside as much as you like.

When it's time to spend time inside you have TV, DVD and CD player for your use. There are also books, DVDs, toys and board games for all ages. 

There is free parking on the road running alongside the complex and always plenty of parking spaces as the complex is set back from Sao Martinho itself. 

To the restaurants and bars it's a 10-15 min walk into town where you will arrive in the up-market part of São Martinho do Porto .

Please note:

 Whilst COVID-19 is still prevalent, a number of measures are being taken to reduce the risk of contamination in the Gilmafacho complex. During this time: 

  • · Loungers will not be available around the pools.
  • · The indoor communal areas will remain closed. This means that it won't be possible to use the pool table or squash court.
  • · In order to use the tennis court and mini-golf, guests are required to provide their own golf clubs and racquets.

 In light of recent events involving COVID-19 and in recognition of the unpredictable nature of measures that may be imposed by the government or by the managers of a complex to control the risk of the contamination, it is possible that the use of certain facilities in any complex may be restricted. Any such measures are outside of the control of the owners, property managers and advertisers and as such no compensation can be awarded for any limitations to use. We will however do our best to inform guests with as much notice as possible should we become aware of any restrictions to the communal spaces.

    Management Charges:

    - There's a mandatory final cleaning charge of € 95.

    - Please note that arrivals after 22:00 will be charged at € 25 to be paid on arrival.


    Extra Charges:

    From 15 Sept to 15 June, gas consumption is charged at a rate of € 4.27 per KW hour.


    Refundable Security Deposit: € 150 

    - The refundable security deposit is returned to you 2 weeks after your stay.


    Christmas/New Year Season:

    - Christmas/New Year bookings of less than 1 week, over this period, will be charged for 1 week and the security deposit increases to € 300.


    Cancellation Policy:

    - Cancellation fee of 20% of the booking up to 5 weeks before the holiday, and 100% when the holiday is less than 5 weeks away.

    Después de intentar reservar con airbnb muchas veces esta fue la primera vez que reserve sin incidencias. La persona encargada de recibirnos fue muy atenta y a disposición de lo que necesitásemos. El apartamento está en una urbanización desde donde se ve el mar y cuenta con 3 piscinas y canchas para utilizar sin restricciones. Referente al apartamento: estaba muy limpio, es amplio y cuenta con todos los enseres para tener una estancia cómoda. Totalmente recomendable.

    O atendimento foi muito simpático. A casa tem boas condições. A casa de banho pequena tem a ventilação avariada o que provoca mau cheiro. A luz dos quartos poderia ser reforçada. Existem uma infestação de formigas na cozinha. Parece-me que o colchão da cama de casal necessita de substituição.A TDT funciona não muito bem De resto está tudo muito bem e correu bem

    Lovely property, the pictures don't do it justice. Complex great, again better than expected.
    Had a great, nice relaxing time. Kids loved complex and apartment. Sao Martinho very beautiful, great beach and restaurants.
