Barrel - Fantastic 3 bedroom apartment on the hill in Nazaré with partial sea views and two pools
Description
This tastefully decorated apartment is situated on the ground floor with a balcony and 3 bedrooms, sleeping 7 people in total.
The first bedroom has a double bed. The second room has two
single beds. The third bedroom has a single bed with an additional
pull out single bed underneath. There is an additional day bed that
can be used on request.
The property benefits from two bathrooms. One with bath and shower
over, WC, basin and bidet and one with a shower, WC and
basin.
There is a lovely lounge and dining area and a great private
terrace area and outdoor garden furniture for use here.
There is a TV and DVD player inside the property and at the pool there are communal sunloungers for guests to use. The apartment also benefits from central heating should you need it.
The complex is very attractive with wide open spaces and seating
where you can sit and enjoy the views. The pool areas have been
carefully looked after and provide a nice environment to enjoy the
sun.
The apartment is only 1200 metres to the beach and there is plenty
of public transport to most places from Nazare including
Lisbon.
However if you are bringing a car there is parking on the street in front of the complex where there is ample parking space.
Nazare is a very charming, traditional Portuguese seaside town with a population of approximately 13,000. Historically the key form of income for the town was the fishing industry, an industry that is very much present to this day as visitors will see by the numerous lines of fish sun-drying along the beach.
Nazare has become famous worldwide over the past 5 years owing to a unique canyon just off the coast that creates the biggest waves in the world during Oct and November each year. In the summer the waves are small and great for those just having fun. In October and November the waves should be rode by professionals only.
Today tourism is undoubtedly the key industry in Nazare. Given the huge expanses of beautiful beaches and the picturesque cliff-line views, it certainly comes as no surprise that Nazare has such a massive appeal. On the back of the thriving tourist industry a vast number of cafes, bars and restaurants have emerged throughout the town. With numerous restaurants along the sea front, visitors can dine on some fantastic fresh seafood and enjoy the magnificent views.

Management Charges:
- There's a mandatory final cleaning charge of € 75.
Check-in/ Check-out Times:
- Check-in from 16:00 to 20:00.
- Check-out until 10:00.
Baby Cot + Highchair:
- A set including a baby cot and highchair is available for hire (if available). The set needs to be arranged in advance and the cost is € 20 per stay.
Refundable Security Deposit: € 150
- The refundable security deposit is returned to you 2 weeks after your stay.
- The security deposit increases to € 300 over the Christmas and New Year period.
Christmas/New Year Season:
- Christmas/New Year bookings of less than 1 week, over this period, will be charged for 1 week and the security deposit increases to € 300.
Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellation fee of 20% of the booking up to 5 weeks before the holiday, and 100% when the holiday is less than 5 weeks away.

Nuestra estancia en el apartamento Barrel de Nazaré fue tranquila y agradable. Las indicaciones para la llegada, sobre el apartamento incluso sobre las ofertas de ocio en los alrededores fue muy completa. La atención recibida fue cercana. Eramos siete y cuando llegamos el apartamento estaba limpio y preparado excepto la cama supletoria que carecía de sábanas. Avisamos al contacto y en media hora nos acercaron a casa el juego de sábanas que necesitabamos. El apartamento es amplio y muy completo en cuanto a menaje y utensilio. La urbanización es tranquila. En general una estancia muy agradable.
O apartamento em si muito espaçoso e bem organizado com tudo o que é necessário. O local onde está situado muito calmo e com fácil acesso de estacionamento. Dá para ver o mar e é maravilhoso. Éramos dois casais com dois filhos cada um e ficamos todos muito satisfeitos com a estadia. O apartamento é exatamente como está descrito para alugar. Recomendo.

Nazaré nos ha parecido muy bonito y también todos los pueblos de alrededor. Por supuesto, no se puede dejar de ir a Fátima y visitar el Santuario, rezar a la Virgen y recorrer el camino de los pastorcillos.
Experiência 5 estrelas em todo o processo. A casa é tal e qual a descrição e fotos. A entidade gestora presta todas as informações e está sempre receptiva a pedidos dos hóspedes. Recomendo!

Très bel appartement spacieux - propre - il manque une cafetière et les poêles sont à changer - nous avons passé de super vacances et sommes ravis de notre séjour à Nazaré qui est une ville magnifique !! la piscine est très agréable et bien entretenue.
Excellent apartment, very spacious & had everything we needed. Only down side was the steep walk uphill from the town but this was highlighted before booking. We found if difficult to get taxis in June. Thank you & would recommend the apartment & the lovely town if Nazare. Regards, Mary
