Sicily’s sunny, dry climate, scenery, cuisine, history, and architecture attract many tourists from mainland Italy and abroad. The tourist season peaks in the summer months, although people visit the island all year round. Mount Etna, the beaches, the archeological sites, and the two major cities of Catania and Palermo are the big tourist destinations as are the Aeolian Islands, Erice, Cefalù, Syracuse, and Agrigento.
Patti is still relatively undiscovered by tourists yet Patti and Patti Marina (2-3km away) are beautiful places to spend a relaxing holiday with lovely sand and rocky beaches and great bars, restaurants to enjoy, caves to visit and ofcourse the islands to explore by boat. Be quick Patti won’t stay a secret for long.

In the immediate area (Patti Marina) there are several local bars serving good coffee, drinks, gelati and granita; restaurants, pizzarias, gelaterias, groceries, pasticerias (fresh breads and sweets.) Also there are three Lidos (outside bar/disco on the beach)in the gulf, and two discos (1km and 500 metres).
